Chef Giulia Gallichi Punturello is from Naples, Italy, born to a family that comes from throughout the Mediterranean Region. She is a graduate of the Jerusalem Culinary Institute and works as a private chef, caterer, Italian cooking instructor and author. Giulia enjoys collaborating with Israeli chefs, experimenting with recipes of southern Italy and incorporating Middle Eastern ingredients.
In 2016, Giulia published her first cookbook, Food for Soul, which examines the connections between Jewish recipes and portions of the Bible. She and her husband made Aliyah in 2001, and they currently live in Jerusalem with their four children.
